This supplement contains a Maqui berry ( Aristotelia chilensis) fruit extract concentrate known as MaquiBright, which provides 30 times the Delphinidins as found in a single Maqui fruit. Delphinidin is a plant pigment that gives berries their blue and blue-red hues. This pigment is found in cranberries, Concord grapes, pomegranates and bilberries. The chemicals that give these fruits their color are also believed to support healthy eyes when exposed to chemical and light stimulation, and ultraviolet (UV) light that is believed disrupt normal tear production and capacity.
