Borage Oil from Barleans Organic Oils is a source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), linoleic acid, and oleic acid, which seeks to support the healthy development of cells for support of a healthy brain, healthy-looking skin, hair, and nails. This formula may also support a healthy immune system, healthy joints, a healthy central nervous system, and may help maintain blood sugar levels already within the normal range.

Linolenic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid. This formula also contains gamma-linolenic acids that are converted form of LA. Providing GLA in this formula is believed to promote bioavailability for optimal medicinal benefit. Oleic acid is classified as an omega-9 fatty acid, which means it is not essential but it is believed to support energy levels, may help maintain a normal mood and behavior, and may help maintain cholesterol levels already within the normal range.
