Bromelain is a proteolytic digestive enzyme derived from pineapple stems that aid in breaking down and digesting proteins. 

Country Life Triple Strength Bromelain is the highest potency proteolytic (protein digesting) enzyme available.  Bromelain, derived from the pineapple plant, is one of a group of proteolytic enzymes (enzymes capable of digesting protein).  Bromelain is most effective for injuries in which there is a congestion of blood or heavy bruising.  Because it is a protein digestive agent, bromelain digests trapped blood byproducts. It is more effective for sprains and strains than it is for joint pain.

Suggested Use:
Adults take one (1) tablet with a protein containing meal, up to three times a day. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications that you take with your health care providers.
