Saw Palmetto berry (Serenoa repens, Sabal serrulata) consists of the ripe, dried fruit of Serenoa repens. The berry contains fatty acids (principally lauric acid and ethyl laurate), with phytosterols and polysaccharides. By standardizing the fatty acids in Saw Palmetto to between 85 and 95%, Natural Factors delivers a standardized potency herb extract for men. Saw palmetto, an extract derived from the berry of the saw palmetto tree, is the leading herb for men's health.
Nearly every man over the age of 45 has some enlargement of the prostate gland - small male sex glands that encircle the urethra. Enlargement and inflammation of the prostate can hinder urine flow and affect sexual function. BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) results in frequent nighttime urination, pain, burning and difficulty with urination. Suggested Use:
