NOW® Coral Calcium Plus is an excellent source of alkaline form of Calcium that can help to support a healthy acid base balance. In addition, Coral Calcium has a number of naturally occurring trace minerals that are important for bone health, as well as for optimal enzymatic activity. NOW Coral Calcium is not harvested from living coral reefs or even from the ocean environment, but from above-ground sources in an ecologically friendly manner. In this Coral Calcium Plus formula, Magnesium and Vitamin D have been included for their essential role in bone metabolism.

Coral Calcium is mined from fossilized above-the-ground coral reefs off the coast of the islands of Okinawa, Japan. Coral reefs are made of massive structures made of calcium carbonate that is deposited by living things. Coral also contains about 74 different minerals. The combination of 74 minerals in an easily soluble form makes coral calcium a desirable mineral supplement for many.

Suggested Use:
