NOW Foods L-Arginine is a conditionally essential basic amino acid involved primarily in urea metabolism and excretion, as well as DNA synthesis.
It is an important precursor of Nitric Oxide (NO) and thus plays a role in the dilation of blood vessels.
NOW Foods L-Arginine assists in wound healing, helping remove excess ammonia from the body, stimulating immune function, and promoting secretion of several hormones, including glucagon, insulin, and growth hormone.

Suggested Use:
Take 2 capsules twice daily as needed. Take between meals or at bedtime with a carbohydrate drink to facilitate absorption.
Other Ingredients:
Gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silica.
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
The L-Arginine used in this product is Pharmaceutical Grade.
Natural color variation may occur in this product.
