Iron is also important for energy utilization. However, the amount of Iron in the body is affected by many factors including physical attributes, food restriction, even exercise. Iron-deficient people tire easily in part because their bodies are starved for oxygen.
Iron is also part of myoglobin, which helps muscle cells store oxygen. Without enough iron, adenosine triphosphate (ATP; the fuel the body runs on) cannot be properly synthesized.
As a result, some iron-deficient people become fatigued even when their hemoglobin levels are normal (i.e., when they are not anemic). Solgar's Chelated Iron Tablets contain a daily source of Iron, suitable for vegetarians.

Suggested Use:
As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablet daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Other Ingredients:
Dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable cellulose, vegetable stearic acid, vegetable magnesium stearate, vegetable glycerin.
Free OF: gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, yeast, sugar, sodium, artificial flavor, sweetener, preservatives and color.
